Large semi abstract paintings from my ' Light on the Horizon' series - 61cm x 122cm - acrylic on board - other sizes up to 122cm x 243cm by commission as shown
I have been painting for 30 years or so now whilst carrying on businesses in the field of interior and garden design. Following on from 15 years in a high street setting in Lincolnshire I have recently moved up to Scotland (and semi retirement 🙂 in a beautiful location near Dunoon.
I have exhibited in several galleries in London and have been fortunate enough to sell my work all over the world whilst also experiencing the joy and fulfilment of mentoring aspiring painters and makers, through the exhibition of their work in my retail galleries.  I am a great believer in Empowerment through Creativity.
All my semi abstract paintings are from the ‘Light on the Horizon’ series – in which I wanted to be a wing for a journey away from troubled times to a place where imagination is unencumbered by thoughts of everyday things – a place for peaceful reflection and renewal of spirits – a place of dreams.
The light on the horizon is our hope
The looking out from the anchor of land, our belief in ourselves and our inspiration
The inevitability of tomorrow and a new dawn, our comfort.
In the end . . .
” It’s not what a painting means that is important – it’s what it says”
